Our Elopement by the Sea
"We never wanted the weight of a grand ballroom or the endless chatter of distant relatives. What we longed for was something simple, something that felt like us. So we chose the island — a place where the horizon stretched endlessly, and the ocean itself seemed to whisper, begin again".
"On that morning, the sand was cool beneath our bare feet, the tide curling gently as if it too had come to witness. There were no rows of chairs, no rehearsed procession. Just the two of us, standing in the salt-kissed air, promising forever with the sea as our witness".
".....The joy was in the freedom: no schedules, no expectations, only the rhythm of waves and our laughter carried by the wind. We spoke our vows softly, yet they echoed louder than any cathedral bells. The island gave us its colors — turquoise water, golden light, and blossoms tucked into my hair — and we gave it our story".
".........As we walked along the shore, hand in hand, leaving footprints that the tide quickly erased. It felt symbolic: the world could wash away everything else, but not us. We celebrated with fresh fruit, rum punch, and the kind of dancing that comes only when no one is watching".
